Dwarf Thai Lime Seedling
The Thai Lime (also known as Makrut lime) is a tropical fruit tree native to Southeast Asia. It grows well in large garden pots outdoors in suitable climates or indoors in cooler ones. The leaves are the most frequently used part of the plant, fresh, dried, or frozen, and the rind and crushed leaves emit an intense citrus fragrance. The leaves are used in Indonesian, Laotian, Cambodian, Vietnamese, and Thai cuisine, and are featured in delicious comfort food dishes such as Tom Kha Gai (Thai Coconut Chicken Soup), spicy recipes like Mushroom Rendang, or Thai Drunken Noodles. The flowers are also highly fragrant and can be made into a sweet-smelling tea.
Thai Lime seedlings will be between 7 and 9 inches tall when shipped.
