Tom Kha Gai Recipe: Thai Comfort Food

Home/Store/East Nash Greens Blog/Tom Kha Gai Recipe: Thai Comfort Food

So you have a bumper crop of Thai Lime leaves from your very own Thai Lime tree, and need some culinary direction. They smell amazing. Their perfume permeates the kitchen.

But what the heck do you DO with them?

First, congratulate yourself for having a source of FRESH Thai lime leaves from your very own tree….

Rather than have to resort to dried leaves in a cellophane bag.

Then gather the ingredients for this classic comfort food recipe from Thailand: luscious Tom Kha Gai (Thai Coconut Chicken Soup), tender chicken cooked with creamy coconut milk and infused with Thai lime leaves, lemongrass and galangal.

Then thank me. :)

This classic soup can be converted to a vegan version. Just omit the chicken and use water instead of chicken stock.
